Come celebrate Pokémon UNITE’s third anniversary with a bevy of exciting events and bonuses. Starting on July 19, 2024, and continuing into the following days, you’ll find the arrival of the fan-favorite Legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh, awesome new Holowear for Charizard, the return of a thrilling battle type, and more. Read on to see what’s in store!

Get Ho-Oh in Pokémon UNITE

The Rainbow Pokémon makes its Pokémon UNITE debut as a Ranged Defender whose Regenerator Ability lets it gradually recover HP after a set amount of time of not taking damage from Pokémon on the opposing team. Ho-Oh’s Unite Move, Rekindling Flame, can revive knocked-out ally Pokémon by consuming all the Aeos energy in its possession. The more Aeos energy Ho-Oh consumes, the more ally Pokémon are revived and returned to battle.

Trainers can obtain Ho-Oh from July 18, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to August 11, 2024, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. During this time, you’ll obtain one free die each day that you can roll to advance a number of spaces along a game board. Complete the mission on the space you land on, and you’ll be able to roll another die. Once you reach the board’s goal, you’ll receive a special Divine Forest coin that can be exchanged for Ho-Oh’s Unite license.

Obtain Dark Lord Style: Charizard Holowear

Black flames begin to swirl as Charizard is decked out for this anniversary event in some stunning new Holowear in the latest battle pass. From July 20, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to September 4, 2024, at 4:59 p.m. PDT, you can obtain the regal Dark Lord Style: Charizard Holowear by purchasing the premium pass and increasing your battle pass level.

Get Charizard’s Unite License

Do you want that slick Dark Lord Style Holowear but still need to add Charizard to your team? Never fear, because from July 18, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to September 2, 2024, at 4:59 p.m. PDT, you can obtain Charizard’s Unite license, a Charizard-themed hat fashion item, or 100 Aeos coins the first time you log in to Pokémon UNITE during the event period. Just remember that you’ll only be able to choose one of those items per account log-in.

Play the Panic Parade Revival

Panic Parade, the exciting tower-defense battle type, returns for this anniversary event from July 18, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT to September 4, 2024, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. In Panic Parade, players work together to protect Tinkaton from an onslaught of attacks from advancing wild Pokémon. Some Pokémon can even be called back to provide a quick burst of help to turn the tide of battle.
